📟 Taximeter compatibility and pairing

This page explains which taximeters are compatible with myCloudTaxi and how to pair them to fully benefit from tracking and managing your taxi operations.

 

🔎 Which taximeters are compatible?

Only Taxi-type vehicles can be paired with a taximeter in myCloudTaxi.

Pairing is supported only with the following models:

  • REVOLUTION+

  • Primus 2.0 and Revolution equipped with ATA CONNECT+

These devices enable secure communication between the vehicle, the taximeter, and the myCloudTaxi platform.

 

 

🚖 Why pair a taximeter?

Pairing a taximeter provides advanced features essential for monitoring and managing taxi activity.

It allows you to:

📡 Monitor equipment status remotely

🔄 Automatically track occupancy status (Available / Busy)

📍 Precisely locate the taximeter

🛠️ Perform certain remote actions (lock, synchronization)

💶 Add additional charges via the app (tolls, discounts, tips)

⚙️ Access certain taximeter settings from the smartphone app (depending on the model)

🧾 Retrieve duplicate trip receipts and generate invoices

 

👉 These features ensure better trip traceability and simplified operational management.

 

🔗 How to pair a taximeter?

There are three ways to pair a taximeter with a Taxi vehicle.

 

🧰 During installation by your installer

During the initial installation, your installer can automatically pair the taximeter if your myCloudTaxi account is already active.

 

🚗 When creating a Taxi vehicle

When adding a new Taxi vehicle in myCloudTaxi:

  • Create the vehicle profile

  • Enter the requested taximeter code

  • Validate and save

 

⚙️ From an existing vehicle profile

You can also pair a taximeter afterward:

  • Open the vehicle profile

  • Go to vehicle settings

  • Enter the taximeter code

  • Save

 

⛓️‍💥 How to stop taximeter synchronization

From your private web account:

  • Go to the vehicle profile

  • Open the MY TAXIMETER section

  • Click on Unsynchronize

👉 Your history is preserved, but data will no longer be transmitted.

 

🔐 Where can I find the pairing code?

The pairing code is available directly on the taximeter.

Follow this path:

MENU → SETTINGS → MYCLOUDTAXI CODE

👉 This code is unique and ensures secure pairing.

 

🌐 Where can pairing be performed?

Pairing can be done from:

💻 The web interface: app.mycloudtaxi.com

📱 The myCloudTaxi driver app (iOS and Android)

 

ℹ️ Good to know

  • Once paired, the taximeter automatically synchronizes with myCloudTaxi

  • No daily action is required

  • Data is transmitted in real time depending on vehicle connectivity

  • An unpaired taximeter limits access to certain advanced features

⚠️ If the displayed code is 99999999, it means that the equipment does not have the required capability to communicate or that the taximeter is not transmitting data.
