👤 Add a driver

This page explains who can create a driver account and how to add a driver to your myCloudTaxi organization.

🔐 Who can add a driver?

Creating a new driver is restricted to profiles with the appropriate permissions.

Only the following profiles can add a driver:

  • 👑 Owner

  • 🛠️ Manager

 

How to add a driver

To add a new driver:

  • Go to the My Drivers page

  • Click on the “New Driver” button located above the table

  • Enter the required information

  • Confirm the creation

 

⚙️ Available options during creation

When adding a driver, the Owner or Manager can:

  • Define the driver’s profile (Employee, Tenant, etc.)

  • Manage access to the web platform app.mycloudtaxi.com

  • Enable access to driver applications

  • Set login credentials

  • Assign a password

👉 These settings allow you to precisely adapt permissions to the driver’s role within the company.

 

✉️ Driver account validation

Once the driver is created, a validation email is automatically sent.

This email contains a link to complete the registration process.

By clicking on this link, the driver can:

  • Accept the Terms and Conditions

  • Accept the Privacy Policy

  • Activate their account

 

The link redirects to: 💻 app.mycloudtaxi.com

 

🔒 Access and confidentiality

By default, an employee driver:

  • Has access only to their own trip data

  • Can view information related to their activity

  • Cannot see other drivers’ data

Additional permissions can be granted by the Owner if needed.

 

🛡️ Account security

To ensure security, it is strongly recommended that invited drivers:

👉 Change their password upon first login via their private account or mobile app.
