[Vehicles & Drivers](https://knowledge.mycloudtaxi.com/en/%EF%B8%8F-account-settings?hsLang=en#vehicles-drivers) # 👤 Add a driver ## This page explains who can create a driver account and how to add a driver to your myCloudTaxi organization. 🔐 **Who can add a driver?** Creating a new driver is restricted to profiles with the appropriate permissions. Only the following profiles can add a driver: - 👑 Owner - 🛠️ Manager   ➕ **How to add a driver** To add a new driver: - Go to the **My Drivers** page - Click on the **“New Driver”** button located above the table - Enter the required information - Confirm the creation   ⚙️ **Available options during creation** When adding a driver, the Owner or Manager can: - Define the driver’s profile (Employee, Tenant, etc.) - Manage access to the web platform **app.mycloudtaxi.com** - Enable access to driver applications - Set login credentials - Assign a password 👉 These settings allow you to precisely adapt permissions to the driver’s role within the company.   ✉️ **Driver account validation** Once the driver is created, a validation email is automatically sent. This email contains a link to complete the registration process. By clicking on this link, the driver can: - Accept the Terms and Conditions - Accept the Privacy Policy - Activate their account   The link redirects to: 💻 **app.mycloudtaxi.com**   🔒 **Access and confidentiality** By default, an employee driver: - Has access only to their own trip data - Can view information related to their activity - Cannot see other drivers’ data Additional permissions can be granted by the Owner if needed.   🛡️ **Account security** To ensure security, it is strongly recommended that invited drivers: 👉 Change their password upon first login via their private account or mobile app. -
